On Friday night company units responded to a deck fire. Units were able to respond quickly and were on scene within five minutes of dispatch. Because of this quick response company personnel were able to start knocking down the fire to keep it from spreading into the house. With units from Sperryville and Flint Hill the fire was completely extinguished and some overhaul was done. WVFR wishes the best to the homeowner.
