A beautiful day helped our Oyster Dinner fundraiser.  Leaf viewers traveled along route 211 observed our signs and on the way home stopped for some of the best oysters that they had ever eaten.  Oyster stew, raw oysters and fried all topped the menu of mashed and sweet potatoes, corn, green beans, baked beans, coleslaw, bread,  all the tea/lemonade you wanted and to leave with a sweet taste in your mouth, tables of cake, pie, brownies, and cookies- mostly  homemade. Danny and Hope Huff met their goal and had 155 people attend the dinner. Members also filled their bellies with tasty oysters.
