Training  for 2023, January through June:   Members worked on EMS skills and Firefighter 1 class began.  Washington believes in the team approach to patients and care.  All EMT’s must do continuing education in order to remain certified to operate as an EMT.

Firefighters are continuing to do training to keep kills refreshed as our fire calls are not frequent.  Fit testing of SCBA mask is a yearly requirement to ensure that masks fit properly for safety in fires.  Getting gear off injured firefighter and helping at a Mock Drill at the High School all are part of our training activities.
