It been a busy couple of weeks here at the department. We’ve responded to several calls in the community including some very serious calls. We’ve also had the pleasure of hosting breakfast and lunch for the rough riders as they began and finished their race. Next came our much loved visit by the kindergartners. This is always a great time allowing us an opportunity to show the children fire and EMS personnel are there to help. We have also been standing by at the Rappahannock home football games at the high school. All of this while also welcoming and thoroughly training new recruits that have come by to volunteer with department. It’s been a good couple of weeks here at the station and we have enjoyed being able to interact with community in so many ways.
