Over the weekend of July 14th Engine 1, Tanker 1, and Ambulance 1 responded to another working structure fire in the county. The fire had progressed significantly by the arrival of fire apparatus. County fire personnel as well as mutual aid assistance from Warren and Fauquier counties were on scene for an extended period extinguishing the fire and overhauling the structure. As always we appreciate the help of our surrounding jurisdictions. Red Cross was called to assist the homeowners and we of coarse wish them the best moving forward.
